  • Did a coffee shop today, all ok sat for 10 mins then queued but when I checked the receipt it was 10 mins slower on the time than my phone, I've double checked the time on phone and it's spot on. The time on receipt makes it appear that I entered before the allotted time, I've explained on the report but think they might not pay!

I've had that problem before, but with an Egg shop, and the time on receipt was wrong so made it look like I did it after the time - more annoying by the fact that due to traffic I had to massivel rush to get there in the time as it was!
But anyway, I made a note of that at the start of the report and was never questioned. That was ESA though, and it sounds like this is with TNS so don't know with them. But I would imagine you will be ok.

If it's the Gap one, it used to happen quite often, but as I know my phone is spot on I always used to go by that, & just make a note on the report, & it was never questioned.

I often find the till receipt & Debit Card receipt are both completely different times too in a lot of jobs...........but again always just make a note of them on the report just in case...........:)

If a mystery shop is available to me but the time period was from 05/01 to 07/01 but want to accept but do tomorrow. Is that possible or would it have to be done today even though that is not possible now?

It means that someone has released the job. I would never take a job and complete it outside of the specified timeframe without checking with the company first. Chances are the office is closed tomorrow so I doubt you'd be able to check.

It does say to fail, but I suspect that's only 'cause they don't want you to get a free certificate.

:D A few years ago, I only just missed getting a qualification in mortgage advice by doing a Bare Test assignment. I just ticked the answers that looked most logical, and missed the pass mark by two! :rotfl:

Well done :rotfl: that's funny but also a little bit scary! Perhaps we shouldn't put much faith in mortgage advisers!!

I did a maths teaching one when I did it and passed... Would have been seriously annoyed if I hadn't it was a doddle!!

Does it matter if you do pass them?!?
Say for example you had a test on something that was totally boggling, and you just answered at random but got enough right to pass (as it seems they are multiple choice?!), what would happen then?!??

They want to see how the staff react when telling you that you fail and if they are sympathetic, but I don't think they can not pay you if you do happen to pass. I've heard of quite a few who have passed.
