Hi all. Im at a Secret Eating hotel job right now and have just had to be on the phone to the hotel chain's customer service department for 45 mins, on my mobile, to get access to the prepaid wifi. The call cost nearly twice as much as the original wifi.

In addition, I've torn a Hugo Boss Cardigan on a protruding nail on one of the hotels coathangers.

All in, this is costing a bloody fortune, which, in a none MS situation I'd complain and ask the hotel for compensation.

Anyone know what this MS's policy might be in this situation?

In which case. NO, I DON'T WANT THEM! LOL. If they have cut the reimbursement, that's savage! It's a quarter of the fee they have swiped. At least with RE, they only take £1 off.

I'm not doing them either. Did more than 20 on the last wave. Not prepared to do even my local one this time. Less money, A LOT LESS MONEY, another extra daft question and the check list looks longer as well. Plus the jobs I'm looking at only have one available date and that's a Saturday. I only do Saturdays for good money.

Would have considered a circuit at the old fee but not for this fee. After the distance, cost, time involved in doing them in my area, I'm not sure if I would even make the minimum wage.

Why shouldn't you complain? You need to act as a normal customer, and I know I would. I have done several hotel jobs and, if the need arises, I complain.
Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.

About 6 months ago, the Saturday visits had an 1/3 extra on the fee of the weekday visits. I don't think that stands.

    Couldn't agree more.

I have done 42 of these in the past, including some last minute/ enhanced jobs. I won't touch any this time round, and they will probably be hard for them to shift. Hopefully by next time they will be more sensible and all will be back out of rotational restrictions.

Used to enjoy a nice day out in the country collecting eggs.
