Hi,
I am hoping you can help me as I used to do mystery shopping and fancy getting back into it again. Ideally I prefer restaurant visits so can anyone let me know the companies I should be applying to.
Thanks : )0 -

I suppose it's all relativeTo me 16/18 is average!!! Seriously, I would think very carefully before putting large or heavy as I wouldn't want to offend - that's just me, of course. I usually stick with slim build or medium build. I don't think I've ever had to say large build, but for me, they would have to be pretty large to qualify. I suppose medium plus is a kinder way of putting large - I'll remember that in case I ever need it!
Redzhell, my own perceptions aside, I do seem to remember hearing some statistic that the UK average today is actually size 16.0 -
I cant seem to say no to the takeaway jobs - I keep accepting them when they ring. Now got two two takeaways although different on same date same timeframe0

Tbh "medium plus" sounds worse than "large". It sounds like you think the person is obese but don't want to say it, whereas large sounds more like you think they're a size large, which is a size 12-14 in some shops.0 -
It's very much all relative. Personally if I was to be a size 18 I would be morbidly obese but then I'm only 5ft 1in. My colleague at work is 5ft 10in and at a size 18 she was just overweight.
Also just because a size 16 is the average size doesn't mean that it constitutes an average build. When so many people are clinically obese I think we need to be very wary of comparing ourselves to others and making it "ok" to be overweight. We're all too scared to offend someone else! When I was at my biggest (size 16) I needed someone to give me a kick to get me to realise I needed to lose weight.0 -

I suppose "cuddly" or "pear-shaped" is out of the question then? My OH likes to use the words "fat lump". Can you imagine the staff meeting where they all get to read the report!0 -
Well, I've done it. And I put medium/large. Which I thought wasn't too offensive...0
