We have about 8 inches so far! and still falling just looked at the traffic cams M8 is slow.. and down to a lane and A1 is backed up!
  • about 3 to 4 inches here but its snowing with a vengeance! And we still have all the snow from a few weeks ago
One last Mys shop to do at the cinema tonight, hopefully can get it done
  • So.. you've just done an egg shop, despite the snow and the christmas crowds. You've checked the ATM, the litter and the trollys. Asked the daft questions, made notes of the sale assistants name, description and demeanor. Checked the availabilty and quality of various products. Been to the till, acted dumb about the rewards card, made notes of another sales assistants name, etc, etc. Brought a leaky bottle of milk that you returned, made notes of sales assistants name, etc. Gone back to the car checking the carpark rubbish bin on the way. Filling in the questionaire and you realise that you didnt notice if she checked the eggs!!! Do you: A, tick yes (well she was good so she probably did!) B, tick no (well she was a bit dopey so she probably didnt!) C, admit you didnt check (if you can get that info on the q'aire anyway) D, go back and buy some more eggs (at your own expense) or E, other (what?)

I would probably say yes, based on the fact that they have in 90% of the shops I've done.

I did also say no for one shop and then added in the comments box that I didnt see the check but that the assistant had moved the eggs out of my sight for a couple of seconds and may have checked them then.
  • You walked to a cinema 25 miles away then walked 25 miles home in the dark and snow?? Jeez, you deserve prize for most dedicated - No amount of money would make me do that!

You still got plenty of snow in Norfolk? (If I remember your location correctly from all those months ago you were last here!)

hehe it was definately not 25 mins away! maybe if they paid me £1000... :D

not got much, only about 2 inches. my road doesnt look too good! need to go out in car to do quicj audit as cant be bothered to walk! need to drop a tv off as well. second cinemas audit tonight, will walk as 1. its 10 mins away and 2. i am too tight to pay to park (unfortunately its a cheapo place that doesnt validate tickets)!

  • We have only had a measly 1" of snow today and sounds that we are lucky. It has stopped falling now and fingers crossed that is it away.

Only MS I have left for this year are edigital surveys which is today's entertainment.

Hoorah - just managed to pick up a shop that I know will be closed as there was a big fire started in the shop next door last week and there's lots of damage and I know it won't be open for a while.
Nice few pounds for a closed shop fee! :D
