Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone can help me.

I am a newbie and have just been accepted by RE. There are several jobs which I am able to view, but I am unable to open the Assignment Notes. When I click on the link I receive the following error message: "Internet Explorer cannot download note.php from secure.retaileyes.co.uk." I am using Internet Explorer 7. I am able to open up all all the other links, such as Questionnaire etc. I haven't come accross any problems on any other sites.

Can you download IE 8 ? Cant remember which company it was, but one of them certainly recommended using IE 8 last year.

Just gave it a try and it's adobe acrobat for the assignment notes. Are you up to date with that?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have updated to Windows 8, updated Adobe an have just tried Firefox. It seems to be working in Firefox.

I have been browsing this chat forum behind the scenes for about a month and just started registering the day before the Mary Portas doc started.

Have my first job tomorrow - local supermarket

Bit of advice please. I have an assignment for Grassroots but can not do it this afternoon. Can I do it tomorrow, this would be within their timescales. I have tried to phone them but the office is shut.

I've done this before more than once. I did the job within the correct timeframes on the Sunday (and Sunday was a valid date for the job) and made sure the report was in before midnight as it releases it just after midnight. The first time I intended to ring up on the Monday but didn't in the end. It was not queried.

I rang GR when I did a job on Sat but had said I was going to do it on the Sun. The system wouldn't let me change the date on the report but I rang them on the Monday and it wasn't a problem. GR are very very reasonable people.
