Can anyone tell me tell me if the status for jobs done on TNS ever changes from 'booked in'? I've done 12 since Dec 2nd and haven't been paid for any.

I have quite a few on my page that show as booked in, and I've been paid for most of them, so I'm not sure when they are removed or altered.

I too missed the Dec payment by a couple of days - I think the cut off was a little early. Means we should get in Jan instead - I think they pay on the 28th (appears in your bank later). If you haven't received anything by the end of Jan, I would defo get in touch with them.

Does anyone work with Corporate Research International? They are a US company that offer work all over the world. I've just signed up and wondered if anyone had any experience of them and their clients? TIA

I signed up with them but haven't seen one UK client as of yet :(
I might just be too young for the ones they offer though.

I've done odd bits and pieces for them but nothing regular.

The fees are decent and the briefs and reports are straightforward. Payment is fairly quick. They pay in US$ through PayPal.
Here I go again on my own....

OK. So I do a burger joint for MS Company. They pay me a £5 fee and £10 reimbursement for a set number of items I have to buy. When working out tax, what would you guys do? Is it profit of £15 (10 + 5) or profit of £5 (15 - 10 expenses)? I am confused dot com.

I signed up with gap buster, went through all the lengthy tutorials for a famous mcmulti national fast food company, did 2 assignments for them and then was told by Gapbuster that my account had been deleted!!

I had previously been told by gapbuster that the assignments had accepted, I HAVE TO DATE RECEIVED NO PAYMENT FROM GAPBUSTER FOR THESE ASSIGNMENT. Moreover Gapbuster refuse to tell me why my account has been deleted!?!!

Does anybody please have a contact name / tel. number / email for somebody at Gapbuster who I could speak to on this matter? I would be very grateful for your assistance

Best advice I can give is sign up to MSUK as there is a GAP rep on there who may be able to help

I have worked for CRI occasionally for years. I only see one regular client these days, though (care homes). They seem to have lost their other regular clients, mostly to RE!!! CRI pay reasonably well, especially since they add decent bonuses quite readily to jobs that are difficult to allocate. Pay is in $US, by PayPal. CRI are very reasonable to deal with and pay reliably.

It's the £15 minus the exact amount you paid for the items they told you to buy, minus petrol and any other costs such as printing.

As you had to buy the meal to do the assignment it counts as an expense.
