Interview Questions (for higher position within same company)

Hi
this would not normally be too much of an issue, as I have a bank of questions that I can select from for external positions with new companies'.
However, this is the first time I have applied for a more senior role within the same company, and, am finding it more difficult to come up with suitable questions (as I already know the answers to the standard questions lol).
The role is that of a senior buyer and I have been with this particular company for 2 1/4 years (if that makes any difference to the types of questions).
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance

Sometimes I wonder...
"why is that frisbee getting bigger?"
...and then it hits me

Same company interview are awkward for all, I always had great difficulty at not prompting my staff or grinning my ar*e off. The only internal interview I had was gong from a contractor to full time and my manager answered all the questions directed at me. If there are external candidate they should ask you the same questions.
You may be expected to be answer questions about policy to a higher quality, and also strategic questions may arise.Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.0 -
Is it the sort of company where someone who could be conducting the interview (but isn't) would be able to do a mock interview with you? If so they'll likely come up with the same, or similar, stuff to what you actually get asked. Failing that can you talk to anyone already in the role about their experience?Bought, not Brought0

Unfortuantely, it is a more senior role to the one in which I currently in (it is a new role being created within the business, so I am unable to talk with the current occupant, so to speak).
All the relevant personnel are already involved with the interview, so, unfortunately, there is no-one to conduct a 'mock' interview.
