Hypnotherapy for weight loss?

Have you tried it? did it work for you?
Did you do self Hypnotherapy and if it worked what was the CD you used.

If you saw a hypnotherapist and it worked, can you reccommend them?
:j BIG THANKS TO ALL COMP POSTERS, MUCH APPRECIATED :j

  • Yes I tried it! Many years ago, I attended a hypnotherapist once a week for 5 weeks. And the short answer is no, it did'nt work. save your money, you already know everything you need to know to lose weight. The problem is willpower, and no amount of money can buy that, unfortunately for you and me :(
  • Yes it works but you have to genuinely want to lose weight for yourself.
However as poster above says you probably know what you need to do but havent applied it.
Have you lost any weight before?

    agree with above post entirely.
Try a hypnotherapist or NLP practitioner you already know about like Paul McKenna -his books make a lot of sense and come with a self hypnosis cd.
Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
If you don't like my opinion feel free to respond with your own.

I have been yo-yoing for years (unfortunately, a fat period at the moment), so I can't recommend it long-term. However, about a year ago I bought a book by Marisa Peer (You Can Be Thin) which came with a CD. I listened to the CD several (maybe 5-6) times after reading the book (which is the recommended order of doing it) and I believe it helped me lose around a stone or two at the time. Actually, I should really try listening to it again!!!

Its obvious you know how to lose weight Its just a case of getting your head round it. Thats what hypnotherapy does. or at least should do.
