  • Hi everyone, I've made £10.30 from Quidco this week. Thats it for the week I'm afraid but its better than nothing, so I'm chuffed. x
  • Well done everybody :T

    so my totals are........

    Week 1 £32.50 - sale of mobile
Week 2 £234.34 - sale of mobile, matched betting, bingo bonuses & Quidco
    Week 3 £95.01 - Matched betting

    total so far - £361.85

next week is going to be a very low one as I am away for most of it although I have 5 items finishing on ebay and over 50 books on Green Metropolis so fingers crossed :o

Good luck everybody with the challenge :T

ps I have just found out that I have overpaid my electric by £139.00  but I cant add that to my total - pity :D am going to see what the situation is with my gas and if there is any money left over its going off my c/card to go towards my other challenge, to be debt free by Christmas :p

  • Hi everyone - you are all doing so well - I've got loads of catching up to do - still in holiday mode at the moment though!

sorry to hear about your cat Alicatt - I hope puss is much better soon x

have tried to update the totals - hope I've got it accurately. Haven't been adding in the odd bits people are making as I'm assuming you sassy moneysavers will be posting weekly total?

    oops a daisy - I have a marginally higher total for you than you have = £32.67 + £234.34 = £267.01 is this right?

Hi there PP and welcome back - hope you had a lovely time. My week 1 total was incorrect, it should have been £32.50. Sorry if it messes up your spreadsheet :p well Im off to bed too, I seem to get later and later on here every night

  • Another little money making idea to add to the pot :p A friend of my Mums is doing a craft fair on 5th December and she has asked us if we can make some stuff to sell. So I have got some wool, 49p per ball from Home Bargains and I am knitting scarves like mad. It takes 2 balls of wool for a scarf so that is 98p cost per scarf and I am going to sell them for £3.00, so the profit will be £2.02 per scarf and I am hoping to have at least 10 made by 5th December. I am also going to try to make some nice Christmas cards out of the card making stuff that I already have so will not be able to take the costs out of any sales on that one.

How is everybody else doing ?

  • Can someone please explain what matched betting is and how to do it? thanks

Bookies offer free bets which if you just bet the free bet you either win or lose - by matching the free bet with another bet you can 'withdraw' most of the free bet without losing. You need to read up on it on the stickies on the matched betting threads and it takes a lot to get your head around it ( took me months then I suddenly clicked ) but you can always ask questions on the newbie thread on matched betting and somebody will always answer you. They dont tend to like it if you open a new thread on there for advice though :o
Have read up on it and see if anything 'clicks'

  • Hi All :D

Sorry I haven't been around much lately but things have been crazy busy. Anyway realised I haven't posted any totals since I started so here goes (all totals are already minus expenses)

    TOTAL: £24.42

    Week 2 - 10 - 16 November
    Compensation - £70
    Amazon Sales - £41.37
    E-bay Sales - £6.03
    Quidco cashback - £7.94
    Surveys - £0.75

    TOTAL: £126.09

    Week 3 - 17 - 23 November
    Money found - £2.20
    Amazon Sales - £20.91
    E-bay Sales - £94.18

    Hi Everyone :hello:

I've finally got my head around matched betting and signed up to Quidco. :j
I'm looking to do my first bets today (since I'm grounded with sick DS - loss of exam revenue here  ). Got some Ebay revenue to add - last cash payment tonight and don't want to count my chickens. so will post the sum later.
    I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.
