We send ours via Chimney Post ........my children leave their letters on the mantle and by morning they're gone!! Also Christmas morning there's always a letter waiting for us telling us how FC's year has gone. Last year the elves had trouble getting the reindeers in shape for the big night as they'd been a bit lazy and eaten too much in the summer.;)"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0

hehe love it! My children are 8 (nearly 9 eeek) and 11 now and I still do these types of things for them and they are kind enough to play along. I used to send Dp out into the garden on Xmas Eve when the children were in the bath to shake some bells so they'd think FC was on his way - they couldn't get into bed quick enough
I have a baby daughter due in 3 months and will definitely 'borrow' your chimney post idea for her.

After my hundreds of letters of complaint and even threats of involving the courts I still have no train set.

I have aletter pack for the kids that my mum bought and the pre printed envelope says Santa's grotto, Lapland, North Pole.
My kids have written 2 years in a row, once to an adress from ELC (that I paid for!) and never got a reply.
Maybe this year they will, fingers crossed!0 -
If you use an address for Father Christmas that exists eg Lapland then Royal Mail have to deliver it to that country. Unfortunately you wont get a reply.
If you want a letter back then you MUST send to:
Reindeerland
SAN TA1
My kids have been doing it since they were small and I used to do this 30 years ago!! Always got a reply. Good old Royal Mail!
