in Cutting tax
Hi , just a quick question.
My OH has filed his first self employed tax return online . Will a copy of this return remain on the HMRC website so that we could go back and look at it in the future ? How long would it remain there for ?
I have read on this site that we should ensure we have a copy of the return for future ref but surely is its saved online then thats just the same ?

It does keep it online, but print a copy for your records to be on the safe side in case the taxman comes knocking and the website has a problem.
It's a case of - don't rely on the revenue's website to look after it for you - as the second you do, it will let you down.0 -
