Cleaning a car seat

I have a large stain on one of my car seats, it is from a few days a go when I had cleaned the ice/snow off my car and stupidly left the wiper on the car seat after for it to melt. I'm worried about what to use to clean it that wont leave a bigger stain if just water (from the ice) has already stained it.
Any ideas old stylers???

I take the seat cover is fabric?
can be very difficult to get stains out - but could try upholstery foam from somewhere like motorworld.
Unfortunately we struggle to get some stains out of our ambulances if they have fabric seats rather than vinyl - but at least yoiu shouldn't have to worry about some of the things we have had on them. even our steam cleaners struggle. (we have had to replace seats on a couple of occasions)
give the foam a try though may take a few goes thoughDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0 -
Yes the covers are fabric. I've bought some upholstery foam on your advice, fingers crossed it will work. Thanks for your replies.0

I had a similar problem with my grandsons drinks on a light grey car seat, used Tesco's upholstery cleaner and they came up good as new, I was amazed (since changed to a car with black seats!). Let us know how it works out.Slightly bitter0
