What are your children giving/making their dads for Xmas?

I'm really stuck for ideas. What can I get or get my son to make for daddy for Xmas? My children are 3 years & 6 months. I have done their hand prints on plates for their grandparents & photos in frames for great grandparents. We have hand made cards for family.
I'm going to frame a drawing our son has done for him but want something else.
Please tell me what your kiddies are giving their daddies - I need inspiration! Thank you!

I used to teach 3 year olds in pre-school (now I teach primary).
A HUGE hit that we made one year for dads was a pencil/pen holder and the kids totally loved making it.
You simply need:- coloured modelling clay
- decorative beads
- an empty tin (e.g. soup tin), ensure the top is safe (no ragged edges from tin opener)
Simply roll the clay out with a rolling pin and then place the tin at the end and wrap the clay around. Fold over excess clay into the top of the tin (to disguise the fact that its a tin) and cut excess clay from the bottom (otherwise it will be wobbly!).
Then decorate by pushing decorative beads into the clay and leave to dry.
I got loads of thank you notes from dads who were genuinely happy that the children had made it by themselves yet it was lovely and useful!
EDIT - got stacks of modelling clay and beads from pound shop!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Mine have made their Daddy so far a home made notepad (35p value notepad from Tesco), covered with foam (by me ) then decorated with fabric/felt/stickers etc by them, a home made bookmark, a painted pebble - literally a big stone from the garden painted by them. We are also going to make him some biscuits. They have chosen a little trophy type thing which says "best ever Daddy" - it's a bit naff but they saw it in the cheapie shop and wanted to get it and it was only 40p. They will also decorate a shoebox or similer which we will put their gifts for him in. They are also drawing some pictures of the things they like doing with him. (I have written what they are on the younger ones, as it's not immediately obvious

An acoustic guitar! My youngest two are taking guitar lessons at the moment and it has encouraged DH to take up the guitar again himself :-)
Like lots of people, he used to play a bit when he was younger, so this will be a nice surprise for him.

We buy stuff rather than make things, but i think a painted pebble paperweight would be good.0

My daughter has made her dads and uncles a pint of socks, I got 4 pint glasses from wilkinsons for 99p and just bought them some nice socks.
My son has done them Handprint calendars (he is 3) and my eldest daughter has done her dad a pot of gold and made him a cd with his favourite songs on.

DH has been moaning for months that he needs a small torch for his works as he cant see inside the small spaces around the mixers so I have bought him a magnalite from the kids, also he will get a box of minstrels and shortbread (both his favourites) then 2yr old daughter and I will make him a coffee cake and DS (9) is off with his gran next week to buy his present for each of us as I do think its never too early to help them learn about budgets (ok didnt go too great last year but this year we have had a long talk about looking for offers and thinking about what the recipient would like!)SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £0/£10000
