Had a quick look in Comet (Hull) today, saw Morrowind priced £7.99 and thought that was just about OK, so I'll get it.
Joy of Joy, when scanned at checkout it came up as £1.99, assistant checked with boss who said that's fine. Heard him say something about not having a label to change it. :rotfl:
They had about 10 more copies in stock, but only the case priced £7.99 on the shelf.

Because it's only half the calories, you can eat twice as much.
Because it's a bargain, you can buy twice as much.
Since starting saving money, I've spent way too much!!!

I love the game - is it the regular version (brown cover), or the game of the year version (black cover)? Either way, it will last a good few hours if you spend some time getting into it. It is my joint favourite game, alongside Deus Ex.0

G'day S-J, it's the brown cover version, what's the difference?
Looks good, but I've been letting my eight yr old daughter run around at the moment. Look forward to getting my hands on it.Because it's only half the calories, you can eat twice as much.

The black cover has the two expansion packs that were released for the pc and a couple of bug fixes and is quite expensive still - I bought it last year for £15 from Amazon in the sale (after having played and completed the pc 'brown' version previously) and it has been selling for more than that on ebay - although it looks like it is cheaper online now. The brown version will still last well over a hundred hours if you explore lots and complete plenty of side quests and pillage random dungeons etc! Not a bad amount of gameplay for a couple of quid!
It is one of only a handful of games that I thought about when I wasn't playing it!0 -
Have decided to get the GOTY version of this for Xbox myself, after a mate telling me about how much fun he's having in Elder Scrolls IV on the PC:
"I decided to sleep outside to save paying for a room at the inn, woke up the next day to find that I'd 'had dark dreams of a pale figure standing over me'.
Then a few days of gametime later, I found my health bar was going down whenever I stepped outside."
"You were bit by a vampire weren't you mate?"
"Yeah, have to keep feeding on people..."
"Like you would..."
"Umm, but if I do it in front of a crowd, they get angry and attack me."
"I'd expect they would!"
"...and sometimes if I enter someone's house at night while they're sleeping, they wake up while I'm sucking away, shouting 'hey, what's all this', etc."
He knows how to 'cure' himself but he sees that he's saving 'game money' by eating for free!!
Anyway, sounds like it's a bit of a riot for an RPG, so gonna get number 3 and try it.0
