I use IAMS, have tried a few others but she goes of them quite quickly but she will eat Iams all day every day if i let her, i think paying a bit extra now is worth it in the long run if i can avoid vet billsAll comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

HI NPSMAMA - I used to give my cats tinned food - but they started turning their noses up - my boy won't eat anything but Iams these days (he's maybe a tadge spoilt - but looking fabulous on it, and the vets say he is in perferct health!!) - so am always on the lookout for special offers (Don't think I've ever bought full price!!)
At the minute £10 (instead of c £12.99) for the 3K bag at Asda - though Morrisons had it double priced at £9.79 and £12.79 last week, so were obliged to sell it to me at the lower price!! Best offer i ever got was 3 K bag @ £3.50 at Wilkos. (I might have got 8 x 3K bags....but seemed like no-one else wanted them and they were well in date!!)
At the end of the day - full price of £13 (max) - 3K lasts a month- and I often get to feed the cat from next door too (not by choice - cheeky bu**er!!). I'm no mad cat-lady, but I think when it's a health thing - OS sometimes has to be put aside - you can always make those pennies up somewhere else..."...I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."
