Tesco

I feel very grown up.

Foe the first time ever that I can remember, I have gone through the freezer and cupboards and PLANNED next week's dinners. We WILL use up what's in that blasted freezer.

So I've worked out that we can go all next week without buying any freezer or fresh dinner foods, other than fresh veg.

I had to stock up on washing & cleaning stuff, but got loads of BOGOFs and offers, and even without the discount and with the delivery charge, it came to £57. I went through and took OUT some stuff I thought we wouldn't eat or should do without. I got enough stuff for lunches at work - bread, sarnie fillers, soups, crackers, fruit and salad. I even got a couple of treats - a bar of Lindt dark choc (they last us all week on a good week) and some McVities bickies on 2 for £1.60 in the tubs with the lids.

So...let's see how that goes!
I may be skint but at least I'm Relentlessly Positive! :D

Well done. I makes a huge difference and it does feel very grown up.
I find I spend so much less when I use the online shopping and we eat so much better. We still buy treats but not silly amounts and its all budgeted for.
