Hi, Very urgent tip for you all using south eastern trains - Those of you wanting to buy a season ticket in Jan will have a nasty shock when the fares rise on average by 11% (just for season tickets) Mine has increased by £380 in a year and yet the service is worse than it was under those wonderful people at Connex. Get yourself a season ticket before Jan 2nd and you will escape the increase. ITS A MASSIVE SAVING SO GET ON IT AND DONT LET SOUTHEASTERN TRAINS GET AWAY WITH THIS! Happy 2011...

Does seem rather a large jump even then trains are subsided by tax payer, I cant help but wonder why are we one of the country with the highest rail fares yet get the worse service

Yes I know.. Imagine having no choice other than pay and use this awful service every day. They should be fined and lose their license.. at a time when most people have to tighten their belt, southeastern trains continue to pay their directors outrageous bonuses each year.. they make the bankers look tame.. Wish I had the choice to use another service..
