I wouldn't bother with Groupon. I've tried to use vouchers from two differet suppliers through them. First supplier was downright rude when I asked if I could pre-book a series of treatments (particularly when they found out I was paying through vouchers and not cash) and the second lot had run out of several lines of product before the vouchers were even activated!
I managed to cancel the first vouchers, but my friend also wasn't happy about his treatment by the suppliers, and tried to contact Groupon about a refund. He was sent one email from Groupon telling him they were busy and would get back to him. That was two weeks ago.
I tried emailing and calling Groupon myself; but they neither answer any emails or pick up the phone. A message on the customer line keeps telling you to email them - so its just a vicious cycle. I'm beginning to think they are just a scam, although you wouldn't believe it from the great feedback generally plastered over the internet.
Between us we are now £130 down - money you really need at Christmas time. I'm tearing my hair out because we can't do anything until that money has been refunded. Any suggestions?0 -
iv had no bother with them before at all, all the deals have been delivered as stated. I did buy one deal and my daughter bought another and when we placed the order the company thought we were bulk buying and declined the order. groupon gave me a refund without any probs after a phone call to them as i refused to purchase from the company for being so rude after offering the deal and suggesting we were bulk buying0

I'm a big Groupon fan. I go on their site every day to see if anything takes my fancy. I've bought quite a few vouchers before and have never had problems. I've probably jinxed it now, lol! Fingers crossed!0

I highly recommend them. They are simply the best. I've used them quite a bit since joining a few weeks ago.

I've had great treatment from businesses as they are all keen for repeat business.

Im sure she would love it, but apart from the distance, this offer was from last xmas, which for some reason Falafely decided to bring back up, but that should not come as a suprise since over half her posts are promoting Groupon.Ahhhhh, would so love this for my daughter but Sheffield is too far away!!
