i made a "cross" that opened for halloween it was out of a beer box and 2 small boxes stuck on side, this was all covered in toilet roll papier marche style and then painted when dry.
£1 shop has the black and flourescent stripey over knee socks, and packs of 2 clip in hair bits in various colours, dark make-up (reds/purples/black), finger-less gloves.
other things i can think of are:
chunky bracelets
spikey "dog" collar (can be worn as a bracelet)
sweat bands
beanie hat
belt (£1 shops have some with metal studs and holes in)
anything skull related
shoe laces (with skulls maybe?)
search ebay for ideas on emo/goth items, you dont have to buy on there.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

We have a hippie shop locally that sells skull beads- maybe make a bracelet or make up a jewellery kit with that type of thing. I imagine at 13 she is VERY serious but if she doesn't mind a little teasing look out for any leftover Hallowe'en sweets reduced in the supermarket - even at my advanced age i thought this years chocolate skulls were cool!0

Make her an emo sock monkey! I did this one year and it went down a treat. Also, this might be out of your budget but this (ebay link) went down well last year: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270676084474&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT0

I remember when I was a teenager one of the best presents I ever had was a super long black eyeliner pencil!!! My Mum picked it up from a Revlon discount sale along with some nail varnish in metallic purple & silver & grey. I'd never really had such a grown up present so I was thrilled to pieces. Maybe if she's already started experimenting with make-up she might like a few fun things like this? Or some body glitter?0

stargazer make up/nail varnish? quite cheap and they have loads of colours plus quite emo-y, u can get it in new look.
twilight book if she's not read them? try amazon marketplace but can prob get it quite cheap"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."0 -
God, trying to think back to my goth days now...
Stargazer makeup (New Look have started stocking this recently in case you don't have a local alternative shop)
'Gothic Charm School' by Jillian Venters would go down a treat (whether or not she's into reading, it's that good)
A small framed picture for her to hang in her room. Google Victoria Frances as she has some amazing Gothic work that's available on canvas/poster/and framed pictures.
Jewellery always goes down well. It would depend on what type of 'goth' she is though as to what she'd appreciate more. The rocker type usually prefer the spiked chokers or if she is quite feminine go for a nice Victorian style choker. A safe bet would always be a nice cross.
A deck of tarot cards, even if she's not into that kind of stuff if you choose wisely you can find them with gothic images on, which would be ideal for her to make a collage out of for her wall.
Someone suggested a CD which is a great idea, but if you're not sure what bands she likes (the spectrum ranges from Panic! At the Disco and Fallout Boy to Slipknot and Murderdolls, so guessing may not be a good idea) you could always get her a HMV voucher (or itunes if she has a player) so she can pick her own. Then if you ask her about what she bought you have an idea for next year (Band Hoodie anyone?)
I'm also sure if you were to wrap up a pair of New Rocks you would be labelled best sister in the world for at least a week ;PI'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.0
