I got my bank charges back
leni
:j The account itself got closed last September because HSBC charged me £100 for going £20 overdrawn. In July I requested 6 year of bank statements and recieved them 5 days later. In August I sent the first letter requesting £223, then the following letter 14 days later after not hearing anything. I forgot all about it then
So mid September I sent the first letter again (this time recorded post), went on holiday for 15 days, got back and sent the 2nd letter recorded post on monday this week, just got a letter offering full and final settlement at £223 :T
Add to that the £165 coming from Quidco next month and standard Credit Card payments, I should be Under £2k by christmas:D

The account has been closed for 14 months now, I didn't get charged for the bank statements eventhough they sent 200 pages in 20 envelopes! They returned the cheque I sent to pay for the statements. So in all this has cost me about £3 (2 x recorded delivery & 4 first class stamps ) envelopes, paper etc done at work!
