Redundant Again..What next?

5 months after being made redundant from last job was given 4 weeks notice yesterday and put on garden leave from new job. (Lightning does stike twice).
I'm 46 and feel getting another job is so difficult at this age. I have a varied amount of experience but consider myself to be a jack of some trades and master of none.
All the internet help guides make finding a job sound all so easy...get a good CV and interview techniques etc etc. However there seems so much competition and poor wages here in the SW of England.
Any1 got any experiences or ideas what to do next?

why dont you try the learn direct website, sorry i dont have a link, i am getting made redundant in 18 months time and my employer (NHS) are running courses using this site. it is very suprising the amount of skills you have that you dont realise that you've got. it even gives you a list of jobs you are suitable for and some you could be working towards, try not to worry too much, there could be something really great just around the corner, good luck"Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0
