Hi every1
My tv has finally lost the will to live and I can now find a suitable replacment.
Does any1 know were I can find a decent tv of this size for below £200. That any company actually has in stock. I not fussy about flat screens and plasma or lcd etc.
My friend got a 28" technosonic last year for £130 in somerfields. Have I known I would of brought 1 then and I knew about this board I would of posted it.Has anybody seen any deals like this?

I would be wary of Beko tv's, in first 5 years broke down 4 times! and parts always seemed a problem. Guess what its just gone again but now we have to pay.0

I think breakdowns are probably luck of the draw. I have a 32" panasonic which cost about £600 4 years ago, It came with 5 years warranty thrown in and it's a good job it did because it's on it's 3rd tube already. If it goes again once it out of warranty I feel a letter to Panasonics customer services may be in order.0

Tesco in Inverness have 28" widescreen JVCs for £199. Not the cheapest you'll find but a good brand.0

Beko aftersales very poor !!! i am a retailer i would not recommend them."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0

crikey!! i am taking mum out next week to help her find a new TV...have Panasonic stopped making CRT screens?
was set on a nice 28" with digi built in, but it appears all they do is this LCD/Plasma crap!!
really liked Pana CRT's all the time i used to sell them0 -
Maybe, not everyones cup of tea - but have you considered second hand ?
The prices available for crt tellys second hand are amazing. Many people no longer want these larger telly's and are practically giving them away (I have gave two to family members).
You can always find them at larger car boot sales for a pittance - i.e less than £10, however im sure that your local ad paper or freecycle group will be just as fruitful.
Although obviously no guarantee with these ones - if you are paying such a low price you can afford to take a chance !!If at first you don't succeed - destroy all evidence that you tried.0 -
i was in comet yesterday
they had a goodman 32' one at 169.990
