Got an email from Argos today, 24 hours special off on the Tasimo Coffee Machines 50% off.

Went right out and got one and it's great. Offer ends midnight but I'm sure if you reserve they would have to honour the price.

They don't have to, but if you burst into tears at the checkout they can change the price manually :-)

• If I go back tomorrow burst into tears and tell them that I didn't realise if I used the quick pay I wouldn't get my £5.00 voucher they'll give it to me? I'm cheesed off I didn't get that !

My email said 24 hours - that's naughty of them !
It's the t20 model which is only on offer for 24 hours, cheeky indeed since the t40 has been that price for over a week now and will be until the 14th. If I were you I'd take it back and swap it for the t40, and remember to print the coupon off the website so you get a £5 gift voucher when spending £30 on small electricals too. Also, register the Tassimo on the website and I am told they give you £20 to spend on the website on t-discs. Every little helps!
• where do you buy the coffee pods from?
any idea how much they are?/

just noticed that you get a £5.00 voucher if you buy any small kitchen appliance from argos as well.

How to receive the voucher in store:
1.
2. £5 voucher will be printed on customers’ till receipts upon spending £30 or more on small kitchen electrical products.
3. Quick Pay Kiosks will not issue these vouchers.
4. £5 voucher is printed on the till receipt in-store not as a separate card.

4. Voucher is available between 8

th and 14th December.

Not 100% sure, but think you need to print the coupon off the website to activate getting the £5 gift voucher, it says to print it anyway.
• '£5 voucher will be printed on customers’ till receipts' when you buy in store
you dont have to print off a voucher

I've been looking at these and can't decide on the T20 or the T40.

Is the only difference the amount of water they hold? (and the colour)

Personally, I really didn't like either of the Tassimo machines I've owned for various reasons, not least the cost of what I felt was poor quality coffee. Over the time I had them I had 5 discs malfunction to the point they exploded with steam and coffee everywhere. I believe this issue has now been fixed.

I now use a good quality espresso machine and decent coffee and have never looked back. Only regret I have is going down the Tassimo route to start with.

I'm sure everyone has their own opinion, just my experience.
