How much have/will you spend today 27/10?

Good morning DFWs :D

Friday at last! Feels great fos us that don't work weekend - but my sympathies goes to those that do :o

It was so cold this morning that my toes refused to get out of bed. My OH had to drag them out kicking and screaming  :rotfl:

Did well with the challenge this week so far but I am not sure how much I'll be spending today. I've been invited to go out for drinks with colleagues and although I am not entirely sure I am in the mood for it, I may just go for a bit. So, update later on the spending!

Hope you all have a great Friday and lots of good challenge results! ;)

Moozie xx

  • hi i have not been on here for a few months but have not completely returned to my bad days. So have decided need to post and visit each day to keep me focused!! My dh1 needs new shoes today so trip to clarks but i complained about her poor summer shoes so have a 50% discount which will ease the spend. Other than that i am hoping not to spend anything other than some potatoes and veg from market!

Have a good time out for drinks Moozie, sometimes what need especially when not in mood!
  • im of to the local outlet centre for shopping and lunch so will probably end up spending a fortune!! but I have only spend £1.79 in the last 2 days so I dont mind to much!

Naughty day for me - just brought a lovely pair of trousers in Dotty P's for £25.... I don't have any smart trousers at all (wear jeans for work) and really need 'em for an Awards ceremony tonight (figure they'll last forever though, definitely come to a few Christmas do's!). Have eBayed enough to cover them and the council tax, so kind of ok. Ish.

Will spend 89p later on fake blood for Halloween, and say £1.50 on lunch (ran out of soup!)

Good luck to the rest of you! xxx
  • Hi everybody!

Brrrrrrrr! Feels like autumn has well and truly arrived!

Been to the market this morning and bought some satsumas. I forgot until last night that its halloween this weekend, so decided as i usually give to the few kiddies who knock, id better have some sweets in for them! I spent £1 on a big tub of mixed sweets. Not very DFW but im sure they wont go to waste if no-one knocks!!:D

    Anyway, total spend £2 exactly.:T

    Good luck to everyone else!

    morning all,

I am out tonight at a party in a bar, I have £20 to spend all weekend and I am thinking that most will probably go tonight. OH can pay for a taxi if he demands that we get one (I am happy getting the tube). I had 75p left yesterday (and it was someone's birthday in the office so they brought in cakes- an eclair yum! so no need to spend on treat for me) and have put it in "Morty" my mortgage pig.
Will need to buy an engagement card for party tonight but have nicked £2 from OH's change bucket as it's his friend he can pay!
I have lunch with me, soup, cheese sandwich and homemade flapjack (to line stomach before vodkas this evening).
Tomorrow and sunday I am doing my homework for my evening class (go away next week for a week so need to get ahead of things) so should be no spenders.
Have a good day everyone, have a good evening Moozie!
