what does it say in your company's disciplinary procedure?
wherever i have worked in the past, if something has been dropped/un-proven, all records must be destroyed, and if referred to again, a grievance can be raised/escalated. i have caught employers out on this many a time when representing staff.
Impressive. Can you please tell me where I can purchase one of your Men in Black style memory wipers. It could prove very useful.
The OP was on a final written warning -It is highly unlikely people who matter at his firm will forget this in a hurry no matter what his file may or may not still include.
OP - in a nutshell no, you have little recourse here. You could put in a FOI request of course but realistically doing so will only entrench current management feelings about you. Time to look elsewhere if you are looking for a quick promotion. Alternatively, get you head down and continue to prove you are a decent long term bet.Go round the green binbags.
