hi OP
if you are in Yorkshire or the NW, try this...
http://www.hi-life.co.uk
it's a really good deal where you can get bogof on many restaurants. May not be completley suitable for children, but many restaurants are happy to cater for them.
Plus the Manchester Evening News, and https://www.manchesteronline.co.uk often give 2 month free trials to the hi-life card

I think they also do 99p breakfasts, cetainly at Warrington they had them in mid September but I think the offers change.
I am not sure what time they serve until but you cannot do a cooked breakfast for 99p at home!

When I was having work done I couldn't use the kitchen for 2 weeks. I found the local NHS hospital canteen had very cheap and surprisingly tasty hot meals which were better than any pub food. Average meal cost £2.poppy100

You could use your tesco vouchers and covert them into a restaurant deal. It includes lots of restaurants mainly in london area but the one I use is Bella Pasta. If you have a £2.50 tesco voucher you will get £10 worth of restaurant vouchers.

Try https://www.toptable.co.uk and do a search for offers e.g. 50% off. Quite a few places to dine.
