Newbie needs help with loan
Hi,
I am a self employed outright homeowner (no mortgage) who is really struggling at the moment (along with the rest of the country)! Work has slowed right down so I don't have regular weekly/monthly income other than WTC & FTC. I have some debt on credit cards and am in the last year of a personal loan but all payments are always met on time. I don't have any loans secured against the property. I have never had a mortgage and I am too young to release equity, I also have a financialy independant 16 year daughter living at home along with my husband....and 2 cats!? I was recently refused a personal loan due to having an unstable income and they don't take WTC/FTC into consideration. HELP!! My house needs "improving/modernisation" do home improvement loans still exist? I just don't know where to start and Christmas IS cancelled
Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this:)

If i had unsteady work, and owed money on a loan and credit cards theres no way on god's green earth that I would want to borrow more money for something as trivial as home improvements.
You may be able to get a secured loan on the property but you need to realise the consequences of this should you fall behind with payments.0 -
