Has anyone ever bought this mince before?
Just wondered what the fat content was like! I prefer the leaner stuff for bolognese and the fattier stuff for stews/casseroles etc.
If anyone could let us know, that would be lovely!Toluna - £45, Valued Opinions - £80, Justtheanswer - £5, Ipsos - £50, Opinionpeople - 129, CashBackKings - £35.64, Pinecone - £52, The MIC - £170, Digital Think Tank - £15, Consumer Pulse - £80

I'll try and find out later Slinky and post back.
I also prefer the leaner stuff for bolognese - a little of the good stuff seems to go a long way.

Slinky, that fat content stated 26% - pretty high I'm afraid.

Just drain it off when you cook it before adding anything else and it is fine. We do this all the time and I am not fat as far as I know!

TBH i have compared the quality of lidl mince with the local butcher and there is no competition. IMHO the lidl mince sucks......"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170

I don't listen to the government.................especially this one.
Sorry, but I go generally for leaner meats - I want to pay for as much meat as possible (less fat means meat is cheaper per kilo/pound etc.).
Some people like fat, some don't. This is a pic taken from our latest hols, one of us eats lean meat - guess who.
