I've just checked my credit report and there are two entries relating to my bankruptcy. Once is the order itself. The second is an order of discharge, for the same date!
What's going on there then. Also, the IS online database has been offline for _aaagggeeesss_ now!

Not sure but I was on the IS database twice (when it was still working!)
Br only on my credit report with Experian once.:mad:0 -
That is odd.
If they are going to have an error, at least it's not an adverse one.

The register is back up and running, I had 2 entries on my report also creditors on twice, I contacted Credit Expert and they corrected it, it was because my address had been entered twiceIf you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j0 -
now - if your address was entered twice then there weren't actually two entries, you were just seeing the one entry twice.
liquidbutindebt - I believe we do register two entries, one for bankruptcy and one for discharge. That's just the way we do it. It's certainly not going to affect credit scoring. Just make sure any defaults that are recorded which were covered by the bankruptcy also show as clear now. If not, you can contact the lenders direct or ask us to do it for you.

Having a quick look at mine, I now wonder if liquidbutindebt is getting the 2 dates mixed up?
The discharge entry should have.
The problem is, it's easy to misread those dates. This entry shows that your bankruptcy has ended. The first date is the date of the original bankruptcy. The second date shows the date of the discharge. We will remove this information from your credit report six years after the date of the original bankruptcy.
You have:
Name: YOUR NAME
Address: YOUR ADDRESS
Information type: Order of Discharge
Date: dd/mm/yyyy
Court: SOMEWHERE COUNTY COURT
Case number: XXXXXXXXXX
Information Source: Insolvency Service
Satisfaction date: dd/mm/yyyy
Where:
Date = Original BR date
Satisfaction date = discharge date.
However, if you don't look too closely or read the notes, then you can easily mistakenly read the first date as being the date of the "Order of Discharge".Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

If the date in red is the same as your BR date, then that is correct.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
