ok so here's our problem, (apologies if this is posted in the wrong area) Due to the imminent arrival of our second child, my fiancee and i would like to move out of our 2 bedroomed house into something a little bigger. Easier said than done. The problem is basically i have a poor credit history (i have 2 defaults 1 with 3yrs left and 1 with 5yrs before they're off my record, both fully satisfied) but i earn a decent wage (30k) whereas my missus has a poor wage(4k) but good credit score. Our current mortgage is in my other halfs name as she lived here before we met. We tried at the turn of the year to get a mortgage together for a 120k house of which 20-25k would have been profit off our current home, thus upping our mortgage from 46k to around 95k based on a combined income of 36k per annum. We didnt get one, even the broker we used was getting annoyed that we couldn't get one. We are now stuck in our small house soon to be occupied by a second child and dont know where to turn except wait around for 5-6 years by which point our eldest will be 8. Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks

Depending on amounts of defaults there may be options of up to 80% Loan to Value.

it was a phone bill for £300 and credit card for 2k
with the card we opted to pay back full amount instead of partial as we were told it looked better, obviously not!0
