Hey all well done..
Date of LBM..April 2008..sat under a tree at the top of a hill..
Debt at highest...£ 6000
Debt free in June/July 2011 for me
Debt free in August 2011 for OH..
Perl of wisdom..if you really can't afford it then save..make very penny you have work for you..
Forums that helped..Old style..debt free diaries..all brilliant and so inspiring..

Light bulb moment Dec 08 with debt at over 42k (hangs head in shame!)
It's taken 5 years but as of Christmas Eve 2013 I'm now debt free:j
Could not have done it without this site so thanks to everyone involved:T
Next goal to be Mortgage free :eek:
Strangely enough even though Mortgage stands at 86k I think I can also attempt this in 5 years (life, job market, health etc willing) this is possible as I no longer have to pay off other debts:D:D:D:D:DLBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13

Congratulations. Great incentive re next challenge, that's my plan too when debt free. Love the mortgage overpayment calculator on here.
