Tube: Annual Ticket for 2011 at 2010 prices

Hello

I just bought my annual ticket (zones 1+2) starting 31/12/2010 ending 30/12/2011 for £1032 + £3 (for the Oyster card) to be sent to me by post (free). This was on-line at

https://oyster.tfl.gov.uk/oyster/entry.do

This saves £72 on the 2011 price.

My nearest tube station was charging me the 2011 price so i think this is only available online and you have to pick a start date in 2010.

Nice to save.

  • The fares don't go up until the 2nd January. That's why you got it at the cheaper price.

It's not really a deal, is it? Just common sense to buy it before the increase?
Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.
