Asda christmas delivery slots

Sorry if this has been posted before, I have checked but haven't seen it. Just to let people know that I've just been on the Asda Groceries Website and Christmas delivery slots are available. Hope this helps someone.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if I order my delivery now for 22nd Dec when will asda take the funds form my account? Will they automatically hold the amount as soon as the order is placed?

They shouldn't debit your bank account before the 22nd. I've ordered early because I had some E vouchers from an earlier order to use and they have to be used by the 22nd. What I do is place an order for the minimum amount which is £25 and then once we get nearer the date I'll go in and amend it because that way I'll keep my slot and chances are I'll be spending more than £25 anyway.

Thats exactly what i've done for the 23rd of december, min shop and then change as we go along brilliant hassle free christmas shop :T
