You need to also start working on the agreement of how you paln to own/pay forthe house and what happens if something goes wrong.

    Death,
    Loss of jobs
    Relationship breakdown
    etc.

Hi guys as a mortgage consultant who works for one of the banks. I certainly think depending on how much you wish to borrow this can be done. you have a decent deposit good income. There is a lot of talk on these threads about using independent advisors, however most rates are there and there abouts depending on loan to value. The biggest thing i have over any IMA is that even if an application fails, I can then pick up the phone and speak to the underwriters in person and give them the exact background of case. On many many occasions we can get the decision overturned. IMA goes to next lender which gives another credit mark on your file. Our bank offers rates that match most lenders and you dont get charged broker fee. If you wish an informal chat to see if I can help you guys please drop me a note and I can give you a call.

Major disadvantage is you will only 'advise' on own products so no way of knowing if it is the best deal for the client.

    Which bank is it?
    I am a Mortgage Adviser

As a mortgage advisor, you will, of course, be complying with the MSE Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct, which can be found here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/325378
and which requires you to have information in your signature on posts if you wish to mention your status within your posts, and which prohibits touting for business, including things like saying "contact me for help".

The post I've quoted above sounds very much like an advertisement, and this forum is not an appropriate place for it.
