I have 3 tote bags I got mine 3 for 2 and during the extra points promotion so got an extra 2000 points as well so that made them £33.33 each and delivered free, I think you have to watch the better than half price deals they are not always the best way to do it.

Yes when you include the £20 (plus 80p in points for the £20 spend over £100) of points you can work them out to be a reasonable price but if you bought 3 @ £29 (if that is the price they go down to when on offer) you get £1.16 each (£3.48 for 3) in points, that makes them £27.84 which is £5.23 each cheaper than the 3 for 2 price.

When it comes to cash in hand you paid £40 each (and then have £20 in points to buy more items and with), with the OOTW you would pay £29 each (with £1.16 points x 3 =£3.48) so a cash paid difference of £11 each. That is a lot less money to actually hand over when buying the items.

    Yes you can order on-line.
OOTW's start on a Friday, as for start time the site seems to close down at just gone midnight and does not open up again until at least after 5am, I would say more like 7-8am.

If you have the receipt they HAVE to refund you the amount you paid. But if it was me I would take it back a couple of days before/after the Offer of the Week promotion! (also if you bought it in 3 for 2 you would need to return those items too!)

Another idea is maybe getting someone else to walk in right behind you and "overhear" your refund scenario and ask to buy the tote bag immediately after you "leave"???

They dont HAVE to refund you if there is nothing wrong with the product. Stores do this as a sign of goodwill but never assume that a store has to refund you anything that is fit for purpose etc.

Depends if she bought instore or online. Under the Distance Selling Regs, companies are obliged to accept returns on all except a few types of items (e.g. personalised or perishable goods etc) within a given timeframe.

Totally agree. I was referring to shop bought goods, I am aware of this but I understood the poster was referring to someone taking it back after buying it at the full price instore.
