  • I had to end my Molton Brown addiction when they stopped doing the Christmas TSV on QVC. So I replaced it with a mixture of Elemis and L'occitane. But having not bought either of them this year, and having never heard of, let alone used, S&G, is this the ideal time to try it out?

But I have Friday off and was hoping for a lie in. Which would be more beneficial?

Havent tried the brands you listed. but I prefer these to crabtree and evelyn if it makes any difference.

Sorry for all the questions, last one to do with OOTW, promise. :D

I want a few other items that are not offer items. If I put them in my basket on Thursday evening after I have logged on, will it save the items until I add the OOTW the day after or will they go once I turn my computer off?

    Thank you for your help.

According to the 'Cheap Beauty Deals' on this website with reference to the current OOTW, it says:

'If it's in your basket before the offer goes live at 7am Fri, then your basket will be reset.'

I've tried using the 'Parenting Club' voucher again but although it's accepting it, it's not taking £5 off.

S & G been OS for about a week now so it can not be added to the basket in advance, I would expect baskets to be re set if it was available otherwise you might be billed the full price

You should be able to use the points on anything in store as long as it is the same price or less than your points.

In Buchanan Galleries Glasgow branch yesterday they had what can only be described as a mountain of these on a pallet which they were moving to an aisle end, probably in preparation for the weekend.
It does actually look like a very substantial gift but I too think I'll be giving it a miss. I think I got caught up in the frenzy last year a wee bit and I still have loads left. I got 2 hatboxes and dd got 3! I'll just keep adding to my hatbox as I need and take advantage of the 1/3 off deals they do throughout the year.
Any S&G fans should bear in mind that asos sell it now, might get a few bargains in their sale post Christmas?:T

I am not an S&G user but can not decide whether to buy this for my daughter.
I have loads of stuff for her including S&G, I have bought a few gift sets and separates under the 3 for 2 with stuff I know she actually uses. I really keep toing and froing over this weeks forthcoming OOTW as it contains many things that she may or may not use (as with most gift sets). I am interested in it more for the bag and box.

    I keep asking myself:
Does she want it (no because it is probably me that thinks she will).
Does she need it (probably not as there are many contents she might not use).
Have I Already Spent Enough On Her (yes but then I always spent too much on her ;))

So am I just bothered about not getting it as I might miss a bargain Which Is Only A Bargain If You Wanted It In The First Place!

I wasn't talking about having the OOTW in the basket before hand but my other shopping. Want some everyday items and am also looking at a shaver for my DH. Then I would add the OOTW on the Friday if it is available. Was just thinking of saving time if it is in demand.

I find anything I have in my basket stays until I remove it or buy it even on a Thursday night / Friday morning as I quite often add in case I decide to buy an OOTW and need to make up the £45 spend for free delivery, take advantage of a bonus points day or one of the days when a code can be used.
