Hi moneysavers, need some of your valued advice.
We are currently near to completing the self-build of our new home, which has been financed with the help of a £100.000 loan-facility from our bank the HSBC.
The loan will have to be converted to a mortgage on completion, but we are unsure has to whether to get one from the bank or shop around for a better deal.
I am currently self-employed with 3 years accounts and would be looking for a possible fixed rate/discounted deal with no extended tie-ins, and may be a facility to make lump-sum payments.
Any advice has to recommended lenders would be most appreciated.
Many Thanks Scuba

As you know what you want, ask London & Country to broker for you, Martin recommends them over and over again. I've used them twice. They don't charge you a fee, they get it from the mortgage company for getting them business. They can also negotiate exclusive special rates. Look under Martin's articles for more comprehensive info.
Good luck
Jay
PS do you scuba dive, or is it just a name? The only stupid question, is an unasked question ...0 -
