Cold spots on radiator's?
Hi,
I'm having some trouble with my bathroom radiator, only one side heats up and it never gets very hot, I have tried bleeding it and there isn't any air coming out. The rest of my radiator's are red hot, especially my kitchen one, even though the TVR is turned down to 1! My bathroom is quite unbearable at the moment, I can't have a bath, I have to use my little shower room as the bathroom is just to cold! This is making live hard as I have a baby who needs baths, and at the moment I'm bathing her in the lounge in front of the fire!
Any advice?

With the system on. Try shutting down the hottest rads and see if it warms up.
If it does, then the system needs balancing.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -

Thanks will give that a go now!
Sounds like the radiator is full of sludge. Quick fix is too shut both valves to the rads for a few minutes to build up some pressure. Then open and it should have pushed the sludge along. Best bet though is to drain the system and then flush it thgrough0
