Fixed term contract in work = Mortgage??

Hello everyone!
I am on a fixed term contract in work. Started March 2010 and it has been renewed twice to cover upto Jan 2012.
Will I have much success applying for a mortgage?
I have a 10% deposit and a good credit rating
I also have a checkable work history since I graduated uni in May 2007.
Any advice or any tips from anyone in the same position would be really appreciated!!!!
Thanks
