  • Hi all...

About 4 months ago, I got my boot/tailgate of my new corsa replaced, because the original had a massive dint in it (my fault :/) any ideas of how I could make any money on the dinted one...the dint is quite bad, but it still has the glass and wiper motors etc with it...its just rotting in my garage at the moment :(
  • hi everyone,

I spent £46 on postage today for the 20 items I posted from my Ebay selling. So far in three weeks once I take out the postage and Ebay and Paypal fees I have earned approx. £60.
Plus the free Daily Mail Family Rail card, then in August I can buy a year one for half price saving £13.00.
I am also collecting the tokens/unique numbers for both the Daily Mail £5 voucher and The Sun £5 voucher. These will both start off my Xmas fund.
I finally received my £5 cashback from the Hotel Du Chocolat promotion before Xmas 2010 and also the £5 Experian free trial.
I have also just found out that my local church runs free childrens classes, my daughter loves going to the church services so may give those a go.

Not quite sure how to update my total as alot of my savings are monthly, so far this year approx. £1600. The biggest one was my Energy supplier swap saving me £960 over the whole year. My payments with SP were £140 per month with E the new supplier they have dropped to £60 per month and nothing to do with the fact that it is summer as I swapped last November and had my heating on 24-7 during the snow in December.

Alot of the smaller ones I have set up a direct debit into my savings account for.

How do other people do this, its a saving no matter how you look at it I suppose. Maybe I could update it each month ?
  • This starts on Monday 13th June, still waiting for the information so I will link as soon as I know. Bit nervous though.
I didn't need a name in the end as they are controlling the blog through the Nectar Reward site although I have started a blog on Mumsnet called Penny Furthing - the cycle of penny pinching family life. I am having a nightmare trying to work out how to use the blog though lol :rotfl:I think that is hysterical laughter though
