Is there a split ticketing expert out there!!??
Options
I've been working on trying to split ticket a train fare for my to travel from Milton Keynes MKC to Torquay all afternoon, and am struggling to make it work....
Are there any experts out there that would love to help a wailing lass out and give me a hand please????:p I'd really appreciate it
I would be leaving MKC for Torquay on 17 December after 12:00 and return on Wednesday 22 December leaving TOR anytime after 10am.
I've got the split routes....it's just getting the fares and making sure it's on the right route... The normal fare is return at 81.60, and I can't manage that but have to go and visit my sick friend....cheers anyone!!!! :j

If you don't mind the coach you can get the coach from Milton Keynes to London for £11 return or there abouts.
do you have a rail card? Would you consider the coach?
If so you can get London to Torquay for £13
Torquay to London for £10
Both on the megabus:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

You could try one of the following;
Milton Keynes to London Euston 17th 18.05 advance single £5
London Paddington to Torquay 17th 19.45 advance single £27
Torquay to London Paddington 22nd 11.12 advance single £12.50
London Euston to Milton Keynes 22nd 15.46 advance single £11
Total Return £55.5 (+ £8 underground or £3.60 Oyster card or a walk from station to station, not from London so not to sure of the distance) can be cheaper but involves a long connection time in London.
Other split options are one or more of the following; Tamworth, Birmingham NS, Newton Abbot, Exeter St Davids
or the following; Milton keynes to London Euston, London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids (via Honiton)Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

I did look at the coach option thanks - but it's a very long journey.dawyldthing wrote: »If you don't mind the coach you can get the coach from Milton Keynes to London for £11 return or there abouts.

I like the MKC via Birmingham route, as there is only one stop which is to change trains at Birmingham and it's about 25 mins shorter that's all...0
