NHS Jobs site

Hi Guys
Not money saving but could do with some advice.
I have applied for 3 jobs through NHS Jobs website. I got invited to interviews for 2 of them. When a notification of an interview was posted I got an email to my yahoo mail asking me to log in and confirm that I would attend. 1 interview has gone and i was not successful. next one is 16th December and appears on my home page as interview confirmed (as I had clicked confirm).
The 3rd job was interviewing yesterday and when I logged in yesterday there was nothing on my home page and I didnt receive any notification via yahoo so I figure that i was not successful to get through to the interview stage. However I was speaking to one of my references today who says on Friday she completed a reference for me. I was surprised as I didn't have an interview.
I get home today and log in and on my home page it says interview 6th December 10.15. under action it says 'canceled'. No email confirmation either.
Has any one had this? I have emailed the interviewer and explained that this was not on my page yesterday and that no email was recieved and also for it to be canceled I would have had to click it.
Is it possible to be put on retrospectively? and could the canceled part be done by the employer?
I am gutted because out of the 3 jobs this is the one I really wanted which is why I logged on every day without fail.
Thank you for your input.

Not all jobs through NHSJobs use the website to confirm interviews. Some ask you to sign in and confirm and others will ask you to phone or sign a form and don't use the site for anything but advertising. Often I find the adverts warn you how you should be expected to confirm if you get an interview. If the advert gives the interview date and you don't hear anything about a job you think you would reasonable get an interview with, you can always ring a few days before hand and confirm that you didn't get an interview.
These adverts usually have a contact number if you'd like an informal chat which is usually a good idea as it shows you're keen and not just mass mailing applications, you can then ask when you'd hear about any interview and how they'd like you to confirm.0 -
I have in the past year or 2 applied for and had interviews with NHS.
They emailed asking me to ring to confirm attendance each time I was offered an interview and to visit website for details, time place etc of interview.
The panel at one interview suggested I rang after making an NHS application and ask to look around the Ward/area where the job was, to meet people and familiarise myself with the role I applied for.
I haven't personally come across the problem you had but it sounds like some sort of Admin or HR error to me.0 -
Thank you for your input.
I have emailed the NHS Job website to ask if there was an administrative error as the interview was definitely not there before today and I have emailed the interviewer to explain the situation and have asked to be considered for a further interview should they not have been successful in recruiting a candidate yesterday. I am really gutted but never mind. roll on the 16th for the last one. x0 -
