You obviously want our excellent Customer Service and support – but you also don’t want to pay more than you have to. The Price Promise is our guarantee to you that price is never a reason to shop elsewhere; we want to become your single source for all your consumable needs.

The price promise is only applicable to internet and telephone orders.

Why we offer our Price Promise…

The Ink Factory philosophy has always been to have low prices, as we are committed to giving you the greatest possible value for your money. We regularly review prices advertised by other retailers yet prices change quickly and we may perhaps miss something. We do not expect you to find cheaper prices than ours and therefore want to hear from you if any of our prices are higher than those advertised by another UK competitor. In the unlikely event that you do discover a better deal within seven days of placing your order, we will refund DOUBLE the difference (excluding VAT).

Your name, address, e-mail address and/or telephone number
Your Ink Factory order number
Details of the product in question (including our product code)
Price you have found the product advertised for
Company name of competing retailer
Details of where you saw the product advertised for sale and the date it was found e.g. magazine name, month of publication and page number
Web site address (URL) of competing retailer (if applicable)
Full postal address of competing retailer including postcode
Sales telephone number for competing retailer.

Price Promise Terms and Conditions:

Competitors
Because of the ease of putting up a web site, we will only better competitors who we can determine are bona fide retailers. The competitor must be a legitimate company and provide a physical address (no PO box) on their web site. The Ink Factory reserve the right to exclude auctions, auction web sites, questionable web sites, local resellers, market traders and membership stores.

Stock
The identical product must be in stock and available for a prompt despatch by the competitor who must be located in the UK. Our Price Promise does not apply to products backordered or not available for immediate despatch by the competitor.

Delivery Charges
A competitor’s delivery charges must be upfront and easy to find without having to fill out the shopping basket. Many retailers that charge high delivery charges do not reveal them until the time of checkout in the hope that you will complete the order regardless. As a result we will not better prices with companies that do not provide upfront delivery charges. The Ink Factory offers fast and free delivery within the UK, we send parcels by Royal Mail first class post without charging the customer.

Price
Our Price Promise guarantee is across all of our product lines. A competitor’s price must be generally available to the public, correctly advertised, in GBP £ and include VAT. We will not better any so-called “loss leaders” by companies who by selling certain items below cost price may force other smaller companies out of business. The Ink Factory reserve the right to verify the price you have been quoted.

Returns Policy
The competitor must offer a comparable returns policy to that of The Ink Factory’s, including the time allowed for the return as well as type of refund/replacement.


Full Guarantee
The product advertised by the competitor must come with the full manufacturer’s guarantee. This guarantee must be stated on the competitor’s website or in their store. All of the products sold by the Ink Factory have been tested for quality.


New Item with Complete Package
The product must be new and include all parts in the standard product package by the manufacturer.

Quantity
The Ink Factory may limit the quantity of an item that may be covered by the Price Promise guarantee if the other company limits the number you may buy.

Vouchers
Any vouchers which are available to all Ink Factory customers at the time of ordering will be deducted from the Ink Factory price to come up with a net Ink Factory price when calculating the Price Promise payment.

Non-transferable
Our Price Promise offer is personal to you and therefore not transferable.


Claim Frequency, Amount and Processing Time
Only one claim may be made per household or business in any calendar month. We will refund twice the difference between the price on your receipt and the competitor’s retail price including delivery and excluding VAT up to a maximum of £10.00. Please allow seven days for us to investigate your claim, if we find your claim to adhere to our Terms and Conditions we will inform you of this and your refund will then be processed. A refund may take three working days to clear from the time of being processed by our Accounts Department but will then appear on your statement.


UK Customers
Our Price Promise is available to UK customers only.


Alteration
The Ink Factory reserve the right to alter the Price Promise without notice."
