maybe not much as a Christams pressie, but a slow cooker would save money in ling run, using cheaper cuts of meat for example

I just bought my BFF a slow cooker for his birthday - and he squealed like a teenage girl when he opened it:rotfl::rotfl: My OH thought it was a "bloody stupid gift to give a man in his 30's" but if its something you want/will use then anything can be perfect!

totally agree with this, over previous christmases my best gifts have been a slow cooker, a george forman grill, a 4 slice toaster  and an electric toothbrush loool, i use them all at least twice a week (except the toothbrush, rest assured people twice a day :D) all the 'luxury' treats were admired and filed away, am secretly hoping for the new 1 tablespoon chip fryer this year but at £130 every MSE bone in my body is screaming noooo

just thought another idea is a nice thick coat, we arnt renouned for our sunny weather so you will prob use most of the year :D

  • Hi - I would look on the eco gift sites as you are BOUND to find something on there you are happy with

There is a simple plug in gadget which supposed to save you around 10% on your electricity - I've forgotten what its called..

Plus they have radiator boosters you put on top of your rads to boost heat and save money!

I even treated myself to some eco toilet descalers with a £5 Amazon voucher I had ... No toiletries or girly bits for me - Eco toilet descaler to save me scrubbing off limescale and use hopefully no toilet descaler for the next 5 years! lol

I think a slow cooker is a great idea too ... I'd scream if someone got me one!

Now why didn't I ask for one of those this year?
