Thanks to the OP for this...saw the other thread yesterday but ignored it as it was far too long with individual items being listed(then chat full of what everyone got ...next will be delivery updates on when stuff arrives!!!!)....so i forgot to go to m and s for a look ...your post is appreciated:)

That's the problem with a lot of the long threads on here. They do contain chat and I am guilty of contributing to it. When they get too long I assume that they've been there ages and that I've probably missed the Grabbit. As you say, it's very daunting thinking you have to read through the whole lot.

I too sometimes appreciate duplicate posts that draw my attention to bargains. However, the people who post the original thread do get quite stroppy with people who post duplicate threads and do come across as being rude. I find it difficult doing searches on this site as I find all sorts of irrelevant stuff is found and again it's daunting to read through the lot. Consequently, it's understandable that duplicate threads arise.

Im not sure what's competitive about that. But if its all in the same thread then when the items come in and out of stock and people put on the thread then people can get the items they wanted.I thought the whole idea was to help MSE's get the items they need. If there are 4 threads about the same thing people wont be able to find the ones they need.
The hasbro games etc sold out but came back in an hour or so ago

If there are four threads then its four times the chance that people will see the bargains. If you think a thread should be merged then please pm a BG but please don't ask an OP to delete their post/thread.

I cant believe i had my post removed that said to another poster it was a bit harsh asking for someone elses post to be removed. Admittedly that poster has had theirs removed also, but i am just staggered by it, especially as my post has been quoted and still there and many others have discussed the point and remain.

Please also note that probably as a result of that nastiness, the OP has not posted since.
