Mortgage advice for cohousing Housing Association

We're a cohousing Housing Association in Gloucestershire, founded in 1970 so well established and stable. Our 8 living units change hands on the remains of a 999-year lease and at valuation, and we have a structured process. Units are mortgaged individually and members haven't had real problems in getting loans until recently.
Current difficulties are probably just down to the generally tight mortgage climate, but we'd like to find a 'whole of market' broker who has specific experience of negotiating mortgages for cohousing groups. Experience of housing co-ops would do at a pinch.
Can anyone recommend? Self-recommendations acceptable if you've got the necessary experience.

I think you are going to have trouble finding someone with that background.
If you can't, look for a small local broker with clearly established record /experience and see if they would be willing to research (obviously with the benefit your own background knowledge) and on what basis.
I have just spent a fascinating 30 minutes even finding our what 'cohousing' is !Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Many thanks for your useful suggestion, Senior Paper Monitor. Yes, it's a long shot, but worth asking.
Thanks again
