What value gifts can I send to USA

Hi all
Am hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction!
My brother, SIL and nephew live in the USA and I am sending out their Christmas gifts. I know there is a limit on the value that I can send out but am struggling to find out what this is - all the info I keep coming up with relates to gifts coming into the UK.
If I parcel up their presents (nothing overly expensive) is any limit for the whole parcel or does each get an individual allowance? If gifts are from different people (for example my children have bought presents for their Aunty and Uncle) does the limit relate to the goods coming in as a whole for each or as completely separate gifts?
Sorry - I know I haven't made myself very clear there but any help would be much appreciated - thanks

I don't know if there is a limit. every year we send around £150 of gifts to our family in america. Always sent in one box and try and pick light items as the postage is pretty expensive.. last year it cost £50 and didn't arrive till Feb! (posted it at the start of November!)0

i dont think there is a limit going that way either
i also send a few parcels a year
never had any problems
you need to know what you can and cannot send more than value
threshold coming this way is around £18 before you start getting charged (import tax etc)0 -
Found this on post office site Goods up to £270 require the Customs label CN22. This form must be signed by the sender and attached to the top left hand corner of the item. The sender’s full name and address must be written on the front of the item. Goods over £270 require Customs declaration CN23 + Adhesive plastic wallet SP 126.
