Financial Associated on Experian

Hi

My boyfriend has just got his Experian report and it shows on there that he is still Financial Associate with both his ex-wife and his ex-girlfriend although he has no joint fiances at all with either of them anymore - how do we get this taken off his file?

Also there is a name on there that says he is finacial associated with and he has never heard of the name (its a blokes name) is this something he should be worried about and how do we go about finding out who it is.

Thanks

  • Write a letter to Experian, Equixfax and Call Credit sayng he is not associated anymor with ex-wife and girlfriend. I did this and reapplied for credit report 6 weeks later and he was no more :-)

Ask them for details about othe issue - sorry can't be more help
  • Basically you need to contact the credit reference agencies, Equifax, Experian and Call Credit and request that they file a notice of disassociation. It would be best to get a copy of the reports from all the agencies, they don't all hold the same details.

    Good luck

on the same note- i sent a letter to experian saying that i had no financial ties with someone. it was about a month ago, they replied in a general email saying they will look into the matter but heard no more. should I assume all is ok or does it take a long time?
