As far as I am aware there is no way to repair a credit report, other than time.
I would suggest getting copies from Experian, Equifax & CallCredit and checking for any errors, as these can be corrected but removing accurate information supplied by credit companies is not possible.Official DFW Nerd Club - 184

Go to the Consumer Action Group Forums (https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forums) and enter the 'legalities' board. A member there has been having a battle with Experian, who have admitted that there is no legal right for them to retain information for 6 years beyond the date the account is settled. May be worth having a chat with people over there.
Hope it is OK to post the link to CAG, they are supported by MSE so I assume it's OK!0 -
Were the debts repaid in full or were they "full & final settlements". This makes a difference because if you repaid in full, you could ask the lenders, as a gesture of goodwill, to ask for the entries to be changed to "settled in full", this won't "repair" your report but it will make obtaining of future credit easier. If you did a F&F, they are unlikely to do this.[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0

Unfortunately you may have to wait for 6 years.
It's a while I admit, but at least you know that one day your credit report will be clear :beer:0 -
