I have just noticed Boots have the XBOX Core system back in stock this morning just in time for the end of their advantage points promo..

I have bought one, used the 10% Code, combined with the Triple points promo, which is on until end of play today (Tuesday 7th November) and Quidco (6.5%)

I reckon I have got a system delivered for about £145.. not bad for a Crimbo pressie really.. just got to find myself a nice HDTV.. :j :j :j :j

Sorry to disapoint you but I'm certain the core version doesn't come with a HD cable, only a standard VGA cable. You will need to buy a HD cable if you want to play on a Hi-Def tv. I think they are about £20.

I also found that the premium version doesn't come with a VGA cable (which is what I need until I get a Hi-Def tv) so I too need to spend 20 quid extra on top of the console. I only found this out after I bought it. Both cables should be in the box as standard for the price you pay for it.
